Who we are
Difability is an initiative of IT’S POSSIBLE NOW COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY (Company No. 16430786). It is a UK company. In this notice, “we” means that company. You can reach us at ashraf@hajimail.com or on +44 7955 356126.
What we collect
Only what you send us through the Get started form:
- your name
- your email address or your phone number, whichever you choose
- what you would like to do
- whether you are filling in the form for someone else
- anything you choose to write in the message box
Our website host records technical information, such as your IP address, as part of serving the page and protecting the form from automated abuse. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.
Health information
We do not ask for or store a diagnosis, a condition, or any medical or health information. The form has no question that asks for it. If you mention something of that kind anyway, you can ask us to delete it and we will.
Why we collect it
To reply to you and help with what you asked about. If you give us your email address, we also send you one email to confirm we have your message. We do not sell your details, we do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not publish a list of the people who contact us.
Our lawful basis
Consent. You tick a box before the form will send, and that consent is the basis on which we hold and use what you sent. You can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawing it does not affect anything we did while it was in place.
How long we keep it
For as long as we need it to help with what you asked about, and no longer than two years from the day you send the form. After that we delete it. If you ask us to delete it sooner, we do that instead.
Who sees it
The people at that company who work on Difability. We use ordinary website hosting and email services to receive and store what you send, and those providers can technically access it in the course of running their service. We will not pass your details to an employer or any other organisation without asking you first and getting your answer.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete what we hold
- stop using it, or limit how we use it
- send it to you, or to someone else, in a portable format
- stop contacting you, by withdrawing your consent
We will not charge you for any of this, and we will answer within one month.
How to ask
Email or phone us using the details above, or use the Get started form and choose “Something else”. Tell us what you want us to do: see what we hold, correct it, or delete it.
If you want to complain
Tell us first, so we can put it right. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK regulator for data protection, at ico.org.uk. You can complain to them without telling us first.
